I am myself a senior (just -- so I consider myself a junior senior). Mother of two amazing daughters who have chosen two wonderful partners. Roberta, my oldest daughter and her partner Marty live in Kansas City, MO and Eva and her husband Charlie live in Denver, CO. I look forward to the day when we will all live closer to each other, but in the meantime we get together frequently throughout the year and speak almost daily.

I have always enjoyed seniors and have amazing memories of my grandmothers and the special experiences we shared together as they taught me to cook and told stories of their past. So much of what I learned about life and people came from them.

In the 1990's I worked in a home health agency with most of my clients being seniors and simultaneously took classes in social services and geriatrics. Through that joint experience, I learned about helping and working with seniors. Most importantly, I realized how much I enjoy being with these wise and wonderful people.

My design background from Canada, where I owned and operated a trade showroom, taught me about space planning and design so I am able to assist the seniors in putting together a very functional and beautiful home.

I am on the board of directors of ACT1 (Aging Community Team 1), a local organization made up of organizations that collaborate and provide services for seniors. I am a certified Relocation and Transition Specialist and am in the process of my Certified Aging in Place program.

I feel honored to help each and every senior and receive great gratification from each project completed.
